Gaiku-ryu 四十一

 Gyoga Chujo ([米人 - 俳句] Haiku/Senryu)

Epigram: a short, often satirical poem dealing concisely with a single subject and usually ending with a witty or ingenious turn of thought. Is this an English definition of Senryu?

the beast within

feed and control predator;

it's unpredictable unleashed ✍🏼

BE COOL!

come on folks

giddyup ride da needle;

get vaccinated now! ✍🏼

sixty-seven years and

still a babe in the woods;

growing into maturity ✍🏼

sixty-seven years

still a babe in the woods;

still maturing steadily ✍🏼

aliens have landed

cute little green beings;

happy hallows folks ✍🏼

We call ourselves “sheepdog’s”, we are happy and normal until someone attacks our flock!

sheepdogs are happy

And normal;

Until the flock is attacked ✍🏼

sheepdogs are happy

and normal;

don't attack the flock ✍🏼

swift silent deadly

raiders on the point;

being slow is fast 💨 ✍🏼

ghosts in the machine

not so far fetched you know;

steady blow of dust ✍🏼

time is unstoppable

we all hit the time wall;

death a matter of time ✍🏼

self generated

I high or purpose in life;

be in present moment ✍🏼

the crinkle of dry leaves

waiting for the sun to set;

full moon casts its shine  ✍🏼

moon viewing at night

reveals one's true face;

the shadow knows me ✍🏼

the beast towers over

as the moonlight sillouettes;

reveals old elm tree ✍🏼

a low growl at night

lights are out all over town;

power failure ✍🏼
