I carved block

    original simplicity;

has natural power in verse 

Pooh

    natural and simple;

pooh is plain and honest

    when uncut;

things are natural state

Let me diverge a moment her to write that my foray into enlightenment I came across what would and is the most influential book ever on Taoism, “The Tao of Pooh.” I hold it dearly in my heart as the bestest learning as to character, personality and the way of life ever put to print!

The Pooh Way: 

water just knows

    where it wants to go;

creek meanders around nature’s pathways ✍🏼 

無為 wu wei

    let nature take its course;

effortless effort says pooh ✍🏼 

water following its nature

    flowing over and around;

It’s sensitivity to natural rhythms ✍🏼 

work with nature

    principle of minimal effort;

don’t struggle but go with the flow ✍🏼 

Pooh does not do

     Pooh’s do’s are always done;

riddle me this tigger too ✍🏼 

to do without doing

    So the self so;

doing things spontaneously ✍🏼

    square peg square hole;

no stress no struggle they fit ✍🏼 

undefinable and invisible 

    it is reflex action;

Become a mirror 🪞 and echo ✍🏼 

our sixth sense

    sensitivity to circumstances;

be a natural presence ✍🏼

enjoy life

    to recognize;

the stonecutter 

    became envious of others;

wishing he was of higher status ✍🏼 

he became stone

    most earthly powerful;

the sound of hammer and chisel ✍🏼 

learn to believe

    in the power within;

use that power wisely ✍🏼 

watch natural laws of nature

    alter your life patterns;

watch life change completely ✍🏼 

look clearly

    use situational objectivity;

believe in yourself and great things come ✍🏼 

humanities first treasure

    courage to care;

nature’s kindness to us ✍🏼 

snowball effect

    pushing little snowballs;

suddenly a large snowball ✍🏼 

encourage hope

Use respect

    building respect;

Nowhere and Nothing:

what are you doing pooh

    nothing says he;

    like being in the moment;

ahh understanding tao ✍🏼 

nothing is something 

    something is nothing;

call it great nothing ✍🏼 

distant vision can’t see

    eloquence unable to describe;

no-mind found it right off ✍🏼 

empty mind

    hears birds sing;

stay in that moment ✍🏼 

take out mental garbage 

    let emptiness reign;

charging batteries of spirit ✍🏼 

enter a great hall

    silence of emptiness;

stand silent and bow in the now ✍🏼 

forget body and senses

    leave appearance and data behind;

you find source of all things ✍🏼 

be independent 

    be clear-minded;

be the all-swing child ✍🏼

listen to the voice within

    the voice that reasons;
