all is gone

    into the black;

can’t take my sky ✍🏼 


birds all a flitter 

    morning dew a glitter;

don’t twitter away your day ✍🏼 


can’t always judge a book 📕 

    because some come without covers;

as long as you read it’s ok  ✍🏼 


voices echoing vastness 

    darkest of space;

can’t take the black away ✍🏼 


absolute colorless

    literally light lacking;

never to see darkest corner ✍🏼 


rumors take the stage

     lies never revealed;

don’t believe the false narrative ✍🏼 


feel the rhythms 

    set your cadence;

follow nature’s patterns to balance life ✍🏼 


heartwood coffee ☕️ 

    sweet things too;

have a double chocolate 🍫 ✍🏼 


positive relaxation

    a state of mind and body;

allow spirit to blossom fully my friend ✍🏼 


a difficult path

    fraught with dangers;

like water 💧 we find safe passage ✍🏼 


morning brew

    double chocolate chip;

get the morning started ✍🏼 


seeking knowledge 

    a limitless process;

our potential is emptiness ✍🏼 


death 💀 is serious 🧐 

    it’s out there waiting;

just accept the black ✍🏼

    sounds without clarity;

solitary soul

    soothing solitude;

stoic warrior gathers moss ✍🏼 


white pickets 

    days past;

still days present ✍🏼 


difficult swallows

    turns stiffer;

wonder 💭 the path I take ✍🏼 


yellow signs 🪧 

    fleet footed crossing;

such a safe place to walk ✍🏼 


leaves all a flutter

    rain 🌧 pattering leaves 🍃;

summer rains a plenty ✍🏼 


horse hitches

    coach steps;

stone paths to the past ✍🏼 


hummingbirds humming

    flowers 💐 feeding;

summer signs of renewal ✍🏼 


standards from others

    expectations from others;

our own are enough already ✍🏼 


impossible high standards

    feeds expectations;

leads to contrariness ✍🏼 


patience of job

    but that wears thin;

beware the thin line ✍🏼
