The Haiku Coo Ca Choo Effort
Hi, my name is “nobody” but my family gave me the name, “Charlie.” My family name here is unimportant and I use another name to write my poems. I do so simply because.,.
Long, long ago I wrote poetry and although satisfying I found that limiting so I put down my pen to pick up the proverbial sword. I became a Marine and as part of that I became a karate-ka.
Over the next several decades I have traveled along a path that brought me back to poetry. Not just any poetry, but the Japanese poetry called, “Haiku!”
This blog is a way to put out there my efforts in following the way of haiku or “The Tao of Haiku.”
If you stop by and end up following my efforts I wish you a fine journey and ask you kindly to chime in as to your impressions on my humble efforts.
Many Thanks,
Pheyelow Bashow, fledging haiku’ist 😃
俳句: haiku; very short form of Japanese poetry.
To sway with spring breezes;
Front porch swing.
Leaves rustle.
